Stegosaurs is a lo-res (64px X 64px) game for Apple Mac and Windows PC thats all about clicking on your Stegosaurs and gathering hearts.
Hatch Stegosaurs, get hearts, repeat!
As Stegosaurs love you more and more they will eventually give you even more heart power per heart when you click on them! And as you get more heart power you will find more and more eggs to hatch into more unique and exciting Stegosaurs!

Cool and cute game, but i unlocked 43 stegos and i can't unlock 44th, but i reached maxed heart-meter!
First of all, this game is adorable and I love it.
I wanted to wait until I unlocked all of the Stegosauruseseseses because of how adorable they were, but I think I might have broken the game? Or the amount you need to unlock the last 2 eggs is very high!
I filled the bar up at around 40k but nothing happened, kept going to 60k but still no new egg. So I missed two steggy bois.
Regardless, the game is incredibly cute and I enjoyed seeing the different designs! A few of my favourites were [Spoilers] the rainbow one, the hermit crab, and the l a r g e boi (especially for making it easier to click for hearts)
10/10 sequel please
Thanks Corrie! Not a bug and thanks for playing. If you hit the s key while focused on the game 5 times it will open a cheat menu. The last 2 are unlocked with secret codes. skele and fairy . Enjoy and thanks for playing!!
this was such a nice game to stumble upon tonight. i absolutely love all the little dinos and can't get over how cute the artstyle is! thank you so much for such a delightful little game!

What's the love file in the executable by the way? All I see is a mysterious duck balloon when I open it through the launcher.
The game is built in a framework called Love2d
The love file can be opened if you get the Love2d app, it's just the game file. For OSX and windows the file is also burried in the app. It's the main logic for the game
This game is adorable! I have a bunch of favorite sets. One of them is the realism trio: Knobs, Stretch, and Rex. I like them because they represent different dinosaur types. Then there's the monster trio: McSlime, Sashimi, and Geist. They're squishy! They're all charming, though! Great work!
Thanks! I'm really glad you enjoy it! Sushi (Sashimi's counterpart is one of my favorites). If you like the monsters, you can hit the s key 5 times in a row to access the cheat menu. Then type: skele

The love 2d run time can play the .love file which is one of the download options.

oh gosh, it's really hard to choose one...so I'll cheat and give you a few, hehe. I love Rex, with the goofy little walk, and Luna! big squish! (I imagine she makes whale sounds)
also Juice, who I got shortly after Luna and just... you know. <3
I also adore Fungoomi and Sol, and, and..... ok, I'll stop. :p
